RIT Residence Halls
Description of Work:
- Type of work: HVAC & Plumbing
- This project included the installation of dual temperature fan coil units, providing nearly 400 dorm rooms with air conditioning.
- Just like many colleges across the country, RIT has several residence halls that are half a century or older. These buildings are occupied up to 10 months out of the year, and through decades of wear and tear, it was finally time for an upgrade.
- The ultimate challenge of this project was the timeline. Students vacate the dorms mid-May and return mid-August for the fall semester. This left us with only 12 weeks to deliver a project with no room for error; therefore, it was imperative that we were on point.
